Fiji’s PAC dissolved to hide corruption

March 26, 2014

Fiji’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has been dissolved by the illegal AG after hard questions were asked by PAC members.

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which is the Committee of Public Accounts, is a select committee responsible for overseeing government expenditures to ensure they are effective and honest. It plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency and accountability in all government financial operations.

PAC examines the Accounts showing the appropriation of sums granted by Parliament to meet the Public Expenditure.

However, in Fiji, under the corrupt, lying dictatorship, this key select committee was dissolved to hide the truth about Bainimarama and Khaiyum’s illegal appropriation and expenditure of public funds. This includes:

  • Bainimarama’s multiple salaries
  • Khaiyum’s multiple salaries
  • Salaries of Permanent Secretaries
  • Military expenditure
  • Payments of Ministers’ salaries to Nur Bano Ali’s accounting firm
  • Sale of Rewa Dairy to CJ Patel
  • Use of cheap Chinese loans
  • plus much more.
