Accept we are in power-PM – you wish says SWM President!

September 21, 2009
Bloggers, as I was saying earlier, Frank wants all forms of resistance to cease, so he can get away with treason. How naive of him to think, we are going to forget the great calamity and suffering he has rained upon Fiji! Imagine Frank relying on Hari Punja of all people? Does Frank truly believe Hari Punja has his junta’s interest at heart? Who is advising him? It won’t surprise me because of his level of stupidity, but Hari Punja is there for himself and no one else, including Frank and his illegal junta!

  • Tui Savu.
  • President.

People should now accept the fact that we are in power and people must join us in this journey and follow the agenda of the nation.

That is the message from Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama during the 2010 Budget Forum when he spoke to the business community, civil society groups and senior civil servants about the public and private sector partnership.

Bainimarama stressed that the private sector should stop thinking of their personal interests when they are invited by the government to contribute during the forums and meetings.

He said the bigger picture of what the government wants should be clearly understood by everyone.

The Prime Minister also said there are many people living below the poverty line and everyone should work on ensuring that the poor are assisted.

Bainimarama then said upfront to the packed room that he knows about some people who just think of their interests and are trying to use the government to get their way.

The Prime Minister at times asked certain members of the business community to declare their interests during the forum, which he said he was told about by one of Fiji’s top businessmen Hari Punja.

Vinaka SWM and Mr. Savu for the continued efforts to remind this junta what an illegal, thieving bunch they’re.

yes, we must keep reminding them that they are cowards and loosers with only their guns to keep them in power.

    Mai caka i ke!!!!!

Voreqe, you’re the most POWERLESS man in our country…you and your cronies..if you really want to show you have the power….give US your GUNS for us to get rid of and then show us your true colours…which most probably be BROWN like the one that comes from your rear end..uuuuurrrrrrrhhhhhh!!!! wanna puke already!!!

    Vinaka Mr. Savu.

For Bainimarama to keep reminding people or forcing them to accept he is in power proves the exact opposite. For real power comes through gentle persuasion and a willingness to accept to be led. The exact opposite is happening in Fiji.

Can you guess what then happens when the enforcer of power (guns) is removed?

Like bloody hell we will accept Cranky Franky as our leader. Our leader is one who listens to us. One who we elected to decide whats best for us. Not a thieving guntotting coward who grabbed power and thinks that in time we would accept him. No way jose. You still have a crime to answer for and if not resolved nothing will be ever normal again.

Well this pea brain wannabe pm is making another trip to the UNGA to spew out more lies. UN is stupid to invite him in the first place and more stupid if they believe whatever he has to say. They should just question his lies when he promised all sorts of things in the previous session. They should ban him from attending this body or else he will contaminate it with his treasonous toxic waste.

Unfortunately PP, the UN has to allow someone to speak on behalf of each country. Some very infamous dictators have stood at the same rostrum that will once again be soiled by bananasinpyjamas.

    The UN general assembly is usually packed when the leaders of the major nations speak. By the time they get around to listening to a tin-pot dictator from Fiji, the chamber will be almost empty. [The real leaders will be meeting to discuss important issues.{

The good thing is that other countries have the right of reply and last year New Zealand tore bananasinpyjamas’ silly rhetoric to shreads.

The main purpose of the general assembly is for leaders to mingle. Usually the PM of Australia and New Zealand get a brief meeting with the Presidents of USA and Russia and a cup of tea with The PM of Great Britain and France. Then they have a beer with the PM of Canada and a dinner with the PM of South Africa.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, the best bananasinpyjamas could do last year was a meeting in the corridor with the acting assisting deputy foreign minister for Iceland. Remember bananasinpyjamas wanted to buy icebreakers to add to his tinpot navy.

Maybe this year, bananasinpyjamas might have 10 countries in the general assembly when he mutters his junta’s lies and he may get to speak to the PM of Lapland.

C’mon folkes!. That is true!, reality is, Bainimarama is in power and there is nothing we can do about it!. But dont hold your breath folkes!……election might not happen at all after a long wait!…….but who cares!….Fiji might be crime free by then….thanks to the police crusade!. Tui Savu!….thanks for your inspiration and courages stand against this regime!. We need you to come to Fiji brother! and lead us in protests!. If you decided to come!….please bring a comfortable runners and shorts with you as you will need them very much coz you will undergo some tough trainin regime at Delainabu!. Reality is!… will continue to buck your protests from Australia and expect us to join you in your chorus!. FloJo…Bainimarama only thinks he’s in power because of his cronies’ supporters. He doesn’t have the support of those who really MATTER. And the numbers outweigh the numbers of his supporters.

And mind you…his support base is only possible because he has the GUNS…and that my friend is no support base to boast about.

What he is trying to play is use the powerbase card to weaken our STAND, but he is totally mistaken…WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED. WE SHALL NOT BE SWAYED.

The Commonwealth supports us. The PIF supports us. The US supports us. The UK supports us. Every other nation that believes in democracy support us. So we wilL fight on until 2014 and I betcha…if by then Voreqe still wants to hold on to power….blood is defintely going to be shed. And it will be ON VOREQE’S HANDS!

    @ Flo Jo,

how can you ‘go with the flow in picking up the crumbs to build a better Fiji?’ Who destoryed Fiji, which needs rebuiling? It is this kind of fatalistic mentality that condemns Fiji to repeat its past.

Look at countries struggling with much more constraints than Fiji, such as Israel. Although their government is much more stable than ours, they live amongst hostile neighbours and pay high taxes for their security, yet they are willing to live under their elected Government and still take to task incumbent leaders. Look at their previous PM and President as examples!

Fiji needs that kind of resolve which will ensure the permenant eradication of the coup culture and your defeatist attitiude despite your thinking you are moving Fiji forward, in reailty is moving Fiji backwards big time!

So I ask you to reconsider your view.

@ED & NV, you can go on and on with the injustice and illegality about this regime!. The fact remains that they are in power and there is nothing we can do about it!. We have a choice to remain in hiding and voice our disgruntle and disagreement like we’re doing now, or move to NZ & Aust and openly voice our opinion like our friend Tui Savu!. Which ever option we take, it will be like a water on ducks back!, just fall through without any effect!. Its time we work together and rebuild our nation for a better and brighter future for our children. Nobody else will do it for us but us!!!. If you want to change yourself, use your head!. If you want to change others!….use your heart!. Listen carefully to what your heart is telling you when you pray for our nation!!. Our beloved nation need our prayers!, the rain and storm has already come and gone!. Now is the rebuilding stage!…..come 2014…Im not suprised that there will be no election if people like Tui Savu and others are still voicing their 1cent peace from a distance!. ED, i bet you come 2014, you will be changing your tune to….long live Bainimarama!….. may your dynasty never end!….but for the sake of Fiji and all who call it home, lets hope that Bai and co will have the election by 2014.

bananasinpyjamas mumbles on and on about the changes he has made to Fiji; unfortunately he is too silly to realize that they are all negative:-

    negative financial growth

    negative investment in Fiji

    negative credit rating

    negative results in education

It is about time the brain washed morons from the moronic military media cell realized that they have been taken for a ride and that they are part of the negative outlook for Fiji

Goodness gracious me I wanted to puke when the tin pot dictator came on air to spew out his drivel on grabbing government for some sort of reasons which he pulled out of his hat of lies. Man if one has to listen to this idiot it would really drive one insane. Which is why I dont listen to news these days its so bloody full of these idiots parading around as government bosses.

Cranky Franky reckons he saved the country $43m by removing workers from the civil service, What about the losses he incurred – $300m from the EU is one big example.

if it’s true that Frank assaulted his wife and threatened her with a gun, then I wonder what his son thinks of his Father now !
This accusation also makes sense , if correct, of a reporters interview with Frank in 2006, when he asked of the accusation that he had waved a gun around in parliament. Frank stormed out of the interview and cancelled it there and then.
It could also give some insight as to his mental state and capacity !
