I think you mean Timoce, not Meli, both brothers of Franko. Tim is Govertment Statistician, Meli is in Fijian Affairs. Franko is the black sheep of the family, now trying desperately to prove himself.

Everyone suffers from a coup, well most do while some benefit from it big time like those in power and friends of the perpetrators. So it really does not pay to support a coup. The Indos who have supported this coup have realised their folly in doing so and running away. It just amazes me that in spite of the atrocities this buffoon commits to the majority indigenous people there is muteness everywhere with no significant challenge to his actions. Very disappointing indeed.

People are fleeing because of the repercusion of the situation that the country will have on their lives more importantly their families.
Who wants to live in a country where the situation is unstable, you are unsure of what tommorrow brings to your door step.
The undermining of freedom of speech and the emergence decree now activated until the end of the year.
How can Frank mention in his speech that he will engage the people yet surpress their freedom of expression.
Now until the constitution is put in place is the time for him and his cronies to fill their pockets and get rid of anything that will bite them once the constitution is put in place.
We are not blind, if anything is to change all this, I will reiterate this again, the time for standing back and watching is over.
Its time to act now because the repercusion will be so immense that you will curse yourselves when the time comes.

The Indians are good economists. They have realized that Fiji’s economy is in deep trouble. That is why they are leaving.

It’s time now, for Indigenous Fijians to get involved in the business side of things and take over where the Indians left off !
It’s time for Fijians to take up new challenges and to be actively involved in the business side of things, from woe to go !
Every facet of business should include Fijians from now on.
Ownership of your own resorts, business partnerships, Co-operatives in regards to supplies for those resorts, apprenticeships for the youth and training overseas for the people wanting to take up those challenges.
I know it’s happening to an extent already, but maybe a collective approach needs to be established whereby the locals benefit in the short and long-term
There is now, so much ground to be made up and I’m sure everyone knows that Frank’s days are numbered anyway.
So why not start now so when the coup is finished and a Democratically elected Government put back in place, you are all hitting the ground running ?
