President awards PM Order of Fiji medal

April 24, 2009

Bloggers, well they keep handing awards amongst themselves just to keep them together. This is self-preservation 101, but the irony of it all is the whole world sees it as a sham, but these bunch of weirdos act as if it is genuine! As the old saying goes, birds of the same feather, flock together and what a bunch of losers! They can keep all the medals that can be struck in the world, but it will never save them from the gallows that await them. Josefa Iloilo may be saved due to natural causes or infirmity, but not the others. Se kuca ragone?

Keep those E-Petitions flowing!!!

Prime Minister and Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and two other senior military officers were today merited with the Order of Fiji medals by President Ratu Josefa Iloilo.

In a ceremony at the Government House this morning, Ratu Iloilo awarded Commodore Bainimarama with the Companion of the Order of Fiji.

Bainimarama’s award is based on his “eminent achievement and merit of highest degree and service to Fiji and to humanity at large”.

Land Force Commander Colonel Pita Driti and military law man Colonel Mohammed Aziz were merited with the Officer of Order of Fiji Awards.

Driti and Aziz were awarded these honours for “distinguished service of a high degree to Fiji and humanity at large”.

Warrant Officer Class 1 Semesa Leweni was given the Member of the Order of Fiji. He was awarded the medal for “meritorious service in a particular locality or field”.

The ceremony, which lasted half an hour, was attended by high ranking military officials and an overseas media company.

A valid form of protest –

Past recipients of the Order of Fiji – now that Vore has been given one, it surely completely devalues the Award.

Display your protest against this regime by making a public show of handing in or throwing away your Order of Fiji medal in disgust. Take pictures and distribute them to the blogs, the media, the international media and SWM and FFD movement.

    God bless Fiji

    A great suggestion, FijiGirl.

Does anyone know who has received one previously?

dimwiti must have received his for bashing innocent people; “distinguished service of a high degree to Fiji and humanity at large”.

The giving of the medals is payback. Its Naulukau’s thanks to Voreqe for making him Deputy Prez. Being an ex Military man Naulukau knows that by dangling a gong in the face of Driti he will lose his zeal to unseat Voreqe. All the top players in the coup were awarded. I wonder why Naulukau did not want to dish out one to Teleni. He must be privately fuming. Tonight Naulukau and Mrs Naulukau will be guest of honour at the celebration up at the Officers Mess. They used to toast to the Queen up there by they’ll be toasting to an 89 year old zombie who they know very well they control.
Mark my words. Deputy Prez will be handing out more gongs in the coming days and weeks. He needs to justify his appointment for goodness sake.
Leading recepients will by Cecil Brown for service to banking, Caeser Lateef for service to Law, Waisale Serevi for service to rugby, etc. They got to give one to Dr Serevi so they can glorify in his limelight

It’s a shame that we haven’t heard one word from the GCC .

Why haven’t they sacked the President and reappointed a new one and Vice President who could then sack Frank and reappoint a new Commander ?

The self appointed rulers are showing their true colours now , as they behave like little girls running around kissing each others hands and bestowing medals on one another .

As for the President , I don’t believe that he is control of his faculties and that Frank and Co. are deliberately taking advantage of this man’s state of mind .
If I’m right , then they are the lowest form of scum to be doing such a thing , and we shouldn’t be being disrespectful to an elderly man who is a Chief and has done so much for his Country .
If I’m wrong , then he is involved in this act of treason and will need to be treated accordingly when the time comes for them all to face Justice .

As for Taliban Telini , not giving him a medal might be the biggest mistake the Regime has made so far , because he controls the only armed Officers outside the Military and it could come back to bite Frank and Co. on the bottom !
From what I’ve heard of the Fiji Military of late , they might enjoy that !

These despots must be so desperate to take people to the camp for interogation that they picked up the wrong people for susposedly distributing the above letter.

The story goes that 3 Yacata Men were picked up on Tues and were made to spend 3 nights at the camp. They were only realeased a few hours ago after much negotiation with none other – you guessed it Ului, sister Koila and their brother in law $50 man.

One of the men was their father’s 1st cousin who is an American citizen. Ratu Mara and his mother are sisters. I was told the relatives rang Koila first and she told them to call her brother. When told about his Uncle’s detention he said it was in the hands of the police, so they called $50 man. His Uncle holds an Americian passport and thank God the family had enough sense to take his passport straight to the Americian Embassy for safe keeping and told them how one of their citizens was being taken by the Military.

Once Ului and $50 man realized this, there were told when next contacted by phone that they would be realeased.

It is laughable what is happening over here, there will pick anyone up to terrorize whoever they feel needed to be terrorized. The younger brother usually drinks grog at the wharf and over one grog session was telling the others about how his brother was given this letter, straight away someone went and reported him to $50 man. Soldiers came in their 4 wheel drive to ramsack the house last Tues, found 1 letter and was taken away.

The rumour is it was a set up so that to warn the sister who lives in Australia and who is a very strong anti Maras, Gaunilau and Nailatikau and is a loyal contributor to this blogsite. I doubt it very much it would stop her from fighting for what she believes in.

Fiji is now a hole and if someone could organise a boat and smuggle those of us that detest these idiots out of here to Australia I am sure we will be allowed refugee status once we arrive. Isn’t that how the Afganistanis are fleeing their country for the land of the free.

This may sound pedantic, but can the blogging community please not refer to Ratu Iloilo as our President? He resigned from the position the nanosecond he tried to abrogate our Constitution.

Ratu Iloilo is the Tui Vuda. But he is not our President, by his own choice. Please do not refer to him as such. It gives him a linguistic legitimacy which he has refused to earn.

    God bless Fiji

Indeed , at a given point , people who are being terrorised by Frank and Co. could probably leave Fiji and apply for asylum in Australia or New Zealand .
But make sure you are applying on the right grounds or you could find yourselves being sent back !
So get some good legal advise first .
it’s pathetic that neighbours are dobbing in neighbours , but that was how Hitler maintained his grip on power in the 1930’s .
It’s only when the allies started dropping bombs on Berlin that the idiots realised they had backed the wrong horse , but it was too late by then .
On another point , the reaction the military has had to the letter being distributed , just shows how fearful they are against any resistance and the existence of the letter itself , shows that finally , there are pockets of resistance against what is going on in Fiji .
I note that the Taliban last night , has invaded parts of Pakistan and then with drawn and that the Pakistani army is reluctant to fight the Taliban.
So be aware that Fiji is slowly being infiltrated by hard line Moslem and Communist elements and that Fijian society is slowly being changed forever .

I doubt if it is only about “terrorising one they think that needs to be terrorised”. You see these elements cannot stand competition. It is simple. Anyone who dares to stand-up against them physically will face the brunt of it because they hold power right now. Lets face it.

For any right-minded person this isn’t time to protest or show resistance in public by yrself or even with two others. That isnt just enough! That is plainly allowing yrself into their hands which must be avoided. Get on the blogs brother and pour yr heart out. It is yr safest bet. As previously suggested on this site, we can only take them on by the masses. The numbers are yet to build up!

As for getting on that boat for refugee status..

I doubt Fijians , Indian or Indigenous , would be sent to Christmas Island though , as they don’t come from a Moslem state or a terrorist country , at least , not yet !!!!!!!
Everyone must encourage the Villagers to pay more attention to the truth and to follow the Rule of Law and to be advise the Chiefs to be wise in advising their clans etc. especially now that we are at a critical juncture of this treasonous act by Frank and Co.
And rightly said of course , I don’t think any of us is expecting any individuals to risk their lives until we get huge numbers together .
I still think the best approach is to turn your backs on those who support Frank , even if they are your relatives .
Just be aware all of you , that there may well be many other ways in which people are trying to overcome this oppressive band of treasonous thieves , so keep a stiff upper lip and soldier on .
