Official ANZ Fiji Receipt for $10,010 received from SWM Fiji Flood Appeal- vinaka vaka levu!!!

February 11, 2009

What unprecedented times we live in huh Members? I have just received the official ANZ receipt from Fiji confirming our Flood Appeal donation and have directed our Chief Strategist to post it on our website. On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed towards the SWM Fiji Flood Appeal. The monies will be handed over to the Fiji Red Cross at the end of the month. Donations were received from the US, UK, Europe, Asia, Oz, NZ and the Pacific. It is indeed humbling to note this amount was collected in less than 2 weeks of fundraising. We hope you will again support our next targeted objective in due course. Once again, a very big vinaka vaka levu and I look forward to your continual support as we strive to permenantely eradicate the coup culture in Fiji;  bring all those responsible accountable for their unlawful actions; the restoration of Parliamentary democracy and rule of law.

Tui Savu.

SWM President

Australia.

SWM I am having problems opening the file to look at the receipt. It is telling me that the file is damaged.

    Is there an easy way?

    Thanks Na Vosa!

    Still can’t get into it.

Please webmaster if you could change the “click here” to red instead of white like the others I think it should do the job.

I am also having problems with the “weekly President’s report” – the “click here” is also in white!

Please don’t laugh – old and Pickie beqa na computer!

Knew all along you would do it SWM!

Just great to see the momentum on this site.

Thank you to all the good people – to know that money was donated to the Red Cross to help them fulfil a few dreams of those that are struggling is a great feeling.

Tomorrow night a national fund raising appeal will take place for the bushfire victims. Australians are good at coming together to help their own people.

Vinaka vakalevu SWM supporters for your kind efforts.

As in all acts of kindness, it works like a boomerang, it always returns…(if u know for sure that boomerangs do return).

God bless y’all!! and keep up the good work..this encourages me to share this with y’all from my guarding angel here on Earth….and I do confess, can be foul-mouthed when disgusted but am still blessed cos the only One who forgives, forgives me…amen!!

    How Real Servants Act

We serve God by serving others!
“You can tell what they are by what they do.”
    Matthew 7:16 (CEV)

In our self-serving culture with its me-first mentality, acting like a servant is not a popular concept. Jesus, however, measured greatness in terms of service, not status. God determines your greatness by how many people you serve, not how many people serve you. Yet, it is possible to serve in church for a lifetime without ever being a servant. You must have a servant’s heart.

Notoriety means nothing to real servants because they know the difference between prominence and significance. In heaven God is going to openly reward some of his most obscure and unknown servants-people we never heard of on earth, who taught emotionally disturbed children, cleaned up after incontinent elderly, nursed AIDS patients, and served in thousands of other unnoticed ways.
Knowing this, don’t be discouraged when your service is unnoticed or taken for granted. Keep on serving God! “Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.” I Corinthians 15:58 (Msg)

Even the smallest service is noticed by God and will be rewarded. Remember the words of Jesus: “If, as my representatives, you give even a cup of cold water to a little child, you will surely be rewarded.” Matthew 10:42 (LB)

Be encouraged & enjoy yr day!

    Sa dina EnufDictatorship!

My mother always told me the more you give the more you will receive!

I truly believe in those words.

Thank you SWM and to those that have contributed! Keep up the great work.

We know that all that money came from the bottom of our hearts!

Vinaka vaka levu SWM for giving the global sons and daughters of Fiji a legitimate source to send funds, knowing it will be spent wisely and not whittered away like money paid to the illegal regime.
    God bless Fiji
