Interim PM criticises plan

January 22, 2009

Thursday, January 22, 2009

Update: 9:39AM A GOVERNMENT 10-year plan aimed at completely ridding Labasa town and its outskirts of floods was criticised by the interim head of government Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

He criticised the length of time it would take for the plan to materialise.

The $110m plan put together by Department of Land and Water Resource Management LWRM includes the dredging of main rivers, replacement and relocation of flood gates, coastal protection and other flood mitigation aspects.

“While youre trying to implement your plan, are you telling the people of Labasa they will be flooded for the next 10 years,” Commodore Bainimarama questioned Senior Engineer at LWRM Francisco Alambra.

“Works needed to be carried out now so that people of Labasa dont experience floods every year.”

When will this wannabe leader get off and cease trying to fool us? So now he is into criticising his own illegal government!

He has given the Pacific Island Forum Leaders the feeble excuse of not attending the meeting in Port Moresby because of the critical situation the country is left with in the aftermath of the recent floods. So he decides to stay away from the meeting to criticise his own illegal government?

It is a sure sign that he and his illegal regime is inadequately trying to govern in time of crisis. Like Mr Graham Leung said; “they must be finding, it was easy peezie taking over the Qarase Government.”

What The??? Is it to make out he knows what he is doing? Sorry Mr Illegal PM you have yet to prove to the people of Fiji your worth so no praise will come your way!

The best and most sensible thing you could do for the people of Fiji is to get your butt over to Port Moresby by the 27th!

Fiji’s Illegal PM has too much to lose if he attends the Pacific Forum Meeting in PNG.

He will walk around the flood affected areas trying to make out he is contributing to the flood victims regaining their lives.

Yes I like the phrase – get your butt over to Port Moresby Mr Illegal PM and face the music!

Nice to see Kut’s avatar again … welcome back bro !

Sorry to go off topic but can someone tell me what is the deal with RAWFIJINEWS … they are exhibiting behaviour like Frank himself … one minute braying at the moon about how wonderful he is then next minute poking his azz about something.

The last post one would have thought he was a fcuking hero …. get it together fellas … and what they hell were they thinking suggesting Qarase wouldnt work with him … they shud have asked the question about whether Voreqe is capable of working WITH anyone else. ….. nah … didnt think so.

It appears that my posting yesterday on this blog got up bananasinpyjamas’ nose so he had his Indian tech goons attack it.

So I will go over the points I was making.

Bananasinpyjamas says he can’t go to PNG because he needs to organise flood relief.

He is forgetting that the Australian government is dealing with massive floods that have covered the north of the continent. They have disaster management teams in action who are co-ordinating the clean up and relief efforts.

Yet Rudd will have time to stop in Port Moresby on his way to a finance meeting in Switzerland as he knows that qualified people are assisting the people of the north.

My Keys from NZ is going to the meeting even though he has a broken arm.

bananasinpyjamas is not going as he, to use Rudd’s words from last year, ‘is chicken’.

bananasinpyjamas has sprouted often about the Melanesian way of dialogue to solve problems. So he turns his back on the leaders who earnestly want to help Fiji and expects them to change their diaries because bananas is such an important person.

To add insult to the Melanesian way of doing things, he is sending a taliban terrorist to replace him.

hairyarse will run out of the room crying after 5 minutes.

What a waste of an opportunity for Fiji.

What a show of cowardice by bananasinpyjamas.

If you do a colonel dimwiti and ‘read between the lines’ of bananasinpyjamas’ outburst above, is saying, “Where the hell are we going to get that sort of money? Can’t you do something by next week for $50 as that is all we can afford.”

I say, let the Heavens pour cats and dogs!!!!!

I think you are right there ex Fiji tourist!

I remember reading your comments but little did I know that it would bother the puffed up Commander.

Yes we are experiencing floods up north and all is being taken care of in a professional manner, food, water, generators, etc is being taken in to those isolated by the floods.

My nephew was retrenched yesterday along with 349 others – I thought of how Australia could have easily kept that money back to help the thousands that are now unemployed because of the global credit crisis.

This is what the illegal junta do not understand about humanitarian reasons and how important it is to stay friendly with your neighbours.

So 2 bavulus are going are instead of big chief Mr Illegal PM! What excuse are they going to come up with this time to delay an election date?

I suppose it will be have to sell the charter first – No charter No Elections!

Gavidi is a big time loser – only there for the money because he can’t survive on his pension.

Can’t he get it thru his thick head. Even the big boss is unhappy with him and sent the biggest flood in Fiji’s history. Yeah it happened under the the pig’s rule so surely it is a bad omen to say he is accursed and nothing good will happen under his rule.

Does the pig know what he is talking about? A ten year plan is a ten year plan simple as that. There are lots of considreration such as money resources and other things to be dealt with which does not happen instantly. Shows he don’t know anything and not fit to be a pm.

@soro you’re right about RFN. They gone kinda bonkers. I can’t believe them praising this idiotic dictator for pretending to be doing something. So what would he be saying and thinking looking at some documents or maps laid out before him. Sweet fcuk all.

Yea checked out RFN and what has happened to them?

I just hate the smug look on their faces. There was no look of sympathy to me!

Pretending he was so important and showing off but no national, natural disaster relief package from his dumb illegal govt.
