They says that a possible reason for the low visitor arrivals in January 2009, could be attributed to the sustained bad weather and floods the country experienced – in which the western division – the country’s main tourist belt, suffered the most.
We know that tourist are turning away because of the Bainimarama coup and that travel warnings are being given to countries to be careful on coming to our shores……MORE

One would have to wonder about the extent of grey matter between the ears of the fools in the jaundiced junta.
I wonder what part of suspension from the PIF they don’t understand?
The chance of the criminal being invited to Cairns is as remote as me winning last weeks Lotto [ especially as I didn’t buy a ticket }
“”" Bainimarama will attend the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum if invited to the meeting, in Cairns early next month.
Illegal spokesthing Leweni mumbled, this would be an ideal Forum for Bananainpyjamas, to update leaders on Fiji’s current situation and the way backrwards.”"”
The meeting in Vila is a way for the people of Melanesian states to tell the criminal what they think of the rape of Fijians.
Let’s hope that somare learnt something about morals in his time at Marist Bros at Shorncliff and that he tells bananas to “”"”PISS OFF “”"

A cannibal in Fiji was walking through the jungle and came upon a restaurant operated by a fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and looked over the menu…
+ Boiled Missionary: $10.00
+ Fried Explorer: $15.00
+ Grilled Green Goon: $100.00
+ Baked Drop kick: $100.00
The cannibal called the waiter over and asked, ‘Why such a price difference for the jaundiced juntas?’
The waiter replied, “Have you ever tried to clean one? They’re so full of shit, it takes all morning.”

That’s a good one EFT it brought me a smile this morning. I am surprised by everything happening in Fiji these days with these jaundiced jerks. But thats not to say that it was not expected. While the grapevine is saying the situation in tourism is dire, press releases say it is not so bad. In fact the Bureau of Stats which is run by top green goon’s bro indicated that 2008 had the highest tourism earning to date. But wasn’t it the time when there was mass lay offs and cost cutting or was it just this year? Anyway whatever it is the reality is we are going nowhere soon with these goons in charge. And that statement about Banana going to Cairns by droopy Min of Information wannabe boss Lewenski. Hmmm that a good one because first he is no longer a member of PIF and two he is banned from Ozzie and Kiwi soil. So the likelihood of this happening is unlikely. I mean this pig has insulted most everyone and expects them to consider him. Well some do and for reasons hard to understand. Like the Melanesian leaders who are wanting to get him to the meeting. Are they thinking right or what? Don’t they realise that he is causing much suffering in Fiji and has to be removed since he is not budging from his assinine stance of holding power till 2014 and ruining the country and is a dicktater. As I see it the onslaught of the goons are going ahead and all the pillars of hope and resistance are falling like dominoes.

Tourism in Fiji is dying fast. Working in the travel industry, I see it almost every day when tourists book their Pacific vacations. With good deals available for Cooks, Samoa, Vanuatu and New Caledonia, clients explicitly ask for destinations other than Fiji. Devaluation of the Fiji Dollar has done nothing to make Fiji more competitive as typically 85% of all cost of the tourism trade are incurred in hard currency (Planes, fuel, food, vehicles). The bloke’s salary that shouts his stupid BULA at you in the hotel is absolutely marginal.
We expect, however, the situation getting much worse for Fiji’s tourism industry. Already, stories about rampant crime circle in the media and on the web. Travel warnings will be notched up for the next season in Australia, NZ and the US. Add swine flue together with an utterly incompetent health administration in Fiji to the equation to the picture and everyone can see that its going down the drain fast. THere will be long term impacts as well. No longer do tourists associate Fiji with friendly island folks in reed skirts. Now its the ugly face of dim witted dictator that stands for Fiji. And tourists have noticed that this dictator called Fiji’s tourism industry ‘primitive’.
Maybe time to break the silence before its too late?
